4 Ways To Share The Love On Employee Appreciation Day

Most people spend about 1/3 of their life working. Your employees choose to dedicate that valuable time to your company, your team, and your goals and vision. So on March 3rd, Employee Appreciation Day, take a moment to say THANK YOU to all of your employees for their dedication and hard work. Here are just a few ways that you can show how much your team means to you and your company:

  1. Give them some company swag

When you gift employees company products, it not only shows your appreciation, it makes them an ambassador for your brand. They will feel noticed and valuable, and will be proud to show off where they work!

  1. Treat the team to lunch

I don’t care who you are, everyone loves free food. Take everyone out to pizza or bring a taco bar to the office. It will add a touch of celebration to the day and of course, full bellies = happy employees.

  1. Do something fun

This can be anything from playing a game in the office, to attending a local sporting event. Just giving your employees a break from their desks to get out and have fun will make them feel valued and refreshed.

  1. Have an open forum discussion

This may not seem extravagant, but it will give your employees the opportunity to be heard. Share visions for the company or your team, let everyone share their thoughts and ideas. Your employees will walk away feeling inspired and connected. Sometimes the best gifts of all are simple!

“I truly believe that if you take care of your employees, they will take care of your business.”
– Richard Branson

And last but not least, don’t let “Employee Appreciation Day” be the only day of the year that you celebrate your team! Take moments throughout every month, every week, every day, to show your employees how much you appreciate them and what a difference they make.
