Cathy Kennedy is one of our wonderful employees out of California that embodies partnership! She celebrates her 10th anniversary with JSG this month.
SVP Jim Beckley has this to say about Cathy:
“Early in her career as a Business Development Manager, she brought a new account to JSG, Omnicell. Little did we know at the time, that account, initially serving one location in California would turn into a major nationwide Managed Service Program. When the client decided to move from a self-managed contract labor program to a Managed Service Program, Cathy had had already positioned JSG as the number one provider to Omnicell, serving divisions of Omnicell in 6 states! She had visited all of these sites (including Pittsburgh, PA in December) meeting with the HR Representatives, the using managers and our contract employees in each of these locations. She coordinated pizza parties for our employees and their managers on their lunch breaks, including the graveyard shift!
“We are now Omnicell’s MSP partner for contract labor staffing, with secondary suppliers that help support the contract labor needs. Cathy accomplished this by partnering not only with the Omnicell corporate office in California, but with each of the operating divisions as well as our contract employees. She also partnered internally at JSG, bringing JSG Management and our Safety team to different locations to make sure that the client understood the full capabilities and depth of JSG. Cathy currently sits on-site at Omnicell in Milpitas, CA and leads Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) with the clients and JSG’s team, reviewing both tactical and strategic issues. She continues not only partnering with the client and employees but partnering internally, gathering representatives including representatives from Finance, Strategic Accounts and local management for our Quarterly Business Reviews. Cathy’s ability to partner internally with JSG staff, contract employees, and the client make this program successful and why partnering is a key component to our success at Omnicell.”
Her direct report Ric says,
“Cathy shows exceptional leadership abilities and is able to successfully communicate with a wide variety of people.”
Cathy always brings a special energy with her. Halloween is one of her favorite holidays as evidenced by her pictures in her Omnicell office in last month’s Ink. She also loves finding the beauty in nature. Cathy is kind to all her coworkers and makes sure that they feel appreciated.
Thank you for your dedication, Cathy! We are lucky to have you as a teammate.
